“What is The Lab?”

The Lab is a board-focused climbing facility in Central Boulder, Colorado. We operate as the dedicated training space for climbers in the front range and also for people with freakishly strong grip strength.

“When Did The Lab open?”

We opened on Sept 27th 2025. Owned, operated and staffed by Boulder locals Madison and Michael.

“Can I buy a day pass to try the facility first?”

We do not offer day passes, however we can do a one day trial pass to try out the facility before becoming a member. Just stop by during our staffed hours from 12-6pm M-F. If you decide you’d like to join, we will use your day pass towards your membership.

“Can I bring a guest as a member?”

Members may purchase guest passes at the desk (limit of five per month for anyone). Guests are not allowed on the weekends and only allowed from 12-6pm M-F. (They can stay with you past 6pm as long as they get set up beforehand). Guests are expected to follow all member standards. Guest passes can be converted to memberships day-of. Guests must complete an in person orientation from 12-6 M-F.

“Is The Lab open 24/7?”

Yes for members.

“Are minors allowed?”

No. All members and guests must be 18 or older.
